Salmon Soup

DSC_2713 DSC_2742 DSC_2750 DSC_2751 DSC_2767 DSC_2768 DSC_2799 DSC_2824 DSC_2838 DSC_2856I’m not a big sportsperson and fishing isn’t the first thing I gravitate to but we took a Reindeer tour to Wolf Lake where we drilled holes and fished for trout…I have to admit I quit as soon as I got there because the cold got to my feet but my kids stuck it out and with Claire’s rod, in the hole that Reid drilled, William caught a decent sized trout.  The kids were thrilled.  Our guide gutted the fish, salted it and we ate it for lunch.   What could be better?  I was so happy for the kids to have caught the fish and it’s official…my kids eat fish!
